Non Medical Home Care At Heart of Gold . . .
At Heart of Gold Home Care, our Non Medical Home Care team is always looking to improve and add to our service offering, continuously training, and expanding our services. Our main facility is expanding in East Stroudsburg and we are implementing new service offerings shortly to our non medical home care services.
Personal Care:
We assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, oral care, toileting, etc.
Light Housekeeping:
Our aides will clean and disinfect surfaces, wash dishes, assist with laundry, sweep and mop, remove the trash, etc.
Meal Preparation:
Meals can be prepared for breakfast, lunch, and dinner adhering to dietary guidelines. We can assist with swallowing protocols such as cutting up meals, blending, thickening, etc.
Transfers and Ambulation Assistance:
Our aides are trained to assist our clients with the use of wheelchairs and walkers, along with manual transfers and using Hoyer lifts.
Medication Reminders:
Making sure medications are taken as instructed.
Local Transportation:
Our aides are prepared to transport our clients utilizing their own vehicle or the client’s vehicle. When necessary, transportation is available to local doctor’s appointments, shopping, parks, and recreation, etc.
Companionship:
We hire our aides with companionship in mind. Our caregivers are good listeners and affable, as well as living up to our name by having a Heart of Gold.
