Spontaneous moments of inspiration are treasured by any writer; they’re certainly treasured by this one. Choosing what you’re going to write about is a kind of grunt work. And then, like this morning for me, a glorious moment of inspiration strikes, and has you walking on air. Walking on air is exactly where I was walking this morning when the idea of writing about my close friendship with honesty hit me! What a wonderful idea. Telling about my heartfelt friendship with honesty.

    I was still walking on air a few minutes later – in my living room, as I recall – when a crystal-clear memory with its roots planted foursquare in reality, jumped into the open. 

    I’d already written it!

    Never have I written anything that warrants the plethora of exclamation points in this piece. Never! In fact, I rarely use them. But, reality is a constant. Even when you lose sight of it, it remains a constant.

    So, this missive to you folks is a glimpse of what society calls, “a senior moment.” Well, I’m glad I’m alive to have them. And, well, that’s me being honest!
